There are many ways to support the work of Alder & Otter, and we need all of them. Whether you want to get your boots muddy on a riverbank, test water quality in your local catchment, bring conservation to your classroom, or give your monthly support to the restoration fund, there is a place for you here.
Three ways to make a difference
Volunteer in the field. Join one of our practical programmes: river restoration, citizen-science monitoring, or Wildlife Guardians species surveys. No prior experience needed for most roles; full training is provided.
Support from your school. If you work in education, our Riverside Schools programme brings half-day field visits to any school within a reasonable distance of a partner catchment. Free to state schools.
Give monthly. A regular gift of any size keeps our restoration and monitoring work running year-round. No project ends because the season changed — but they can end if the funding runs out.
